Noggy or Nice Rum Cocktail
Glass: Martini
In a Shaker:
1.5 oz Oro Rum
1 oz Platino Rum
2 oz Organic Egg Nog
.5 oz Maple Syrup
.5 oz Cinnamon Simple Syrup (recipe below)
Shake and strain into martini glass. Top with grated cinnamon and nutmeg.
Cinnamon Syrup:
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
5 cinnamon sticks
Bring water and sugar to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves. Reduce to a simmer and add cinnamon sticks. Simmer 15 minutes, and then let syrup cool. Leave cinnamon sticks in syrup. Refrigerate for up to two weeks.
