A New Limited Release: Valentia
Over four years ago, Montanya distiller Renee Newton distilled some beautiful rum at our home base in Crested Butte. It has been aging ever since, and a few months ago, we transferred it to finish in Catoctin Creek Rye barrels (distilled by Becky Harris) to finish. The result is a single barrel, double maturation rum that we can’t wait to share.

Meet the Growers: Isabel and Will Thibaut
Isabel Thibault grew up in Crested Butte and Gunnison, Colorado, and moved to Louisiana when she married her sugar-can growing husband, Will. Now their land grows sugar cane that ultimately finds its way into Montanya Rums.
