Employee Spotlight: Allysa McGill

Allysa is Front of House Manager at Montanya Distillers, playing many roles from doing tours and tastings for customers, managing the busy front of house of our Tasting Room, bartending, bottling and keeping up the aesthetics of our facilities. She also has a hilariously dry sense of humor, keeping the whole crew laughing. Her attention to detail and her exceptional customer service approach is part of what has made her quickly indispensable to our company.

Allysa was born in Montrose, CO, and raised in Hamilton, Montana. After finishing her Bachelors degree in Wildlife Biology, she moved back to Telluride to be an official ski bum, running the lifts. In between winters, she learned to guide whitewater in Buena Vista, CO. Eventually she made her way to CB in May of 2017 to study massage. Needless to say, she got hooked on mountain biking! 

Allysa hopes to continue to grow as a massage therapist in her own business and to learn more about rum and bartending. When she first started working for Karen last November, she immediately felt welcomed by the hard-working, loving people that make Crested Butte so special. She feels honored to be a new assistant manager as Montanya continues to flourish and surprise customers with fantastic cocktails and food!
