Montanya Distillers welcomes Kyla Ostler!

We are excited to announce that Kyla Ostler has joined the staff at Montanya Distillers as Director of Business Development and Global Brand Ambassador.  Kyla comes to us from The Kitchen, a wildly popular restaurant concept founded in Boulder, Colorado which has now gone national. She began with the company in Boulder and was recruited to open the first downtown Denver location (The Kitchen Denver) as Bar Manager.  She was on staff at The Kitchen for eight years before leaving in summer, 2015.  

Karen Hoskin, owner of Montanya Distillers, met Kyla through her routine work with bars and restaurants committed to local products and artisan cocktails.  Karen immediately recognized Kyla's professionalism, grace, deep understanding of craft spirits and beers, and her wonderful style.  Recognizing a potential ally and colleague, Karen floated the idea of a job for Kyla with Montanya Distillers long before Kyla decided to make a career shift. It was a match made in heaven.  

Kyla joined Montanya Distillers full-time as of January 1st, 2016.  She will be working in a number of capacities with a strong focus on Colorado but attention to Montanya's other 40 states of distribution and overseas business. Her job is to cultivate Montanya's relationships with bartenders and bar/restaurant/liquor store owners, as well as distributors.  She will help with sales, marketing, events, campaigns and national promotional work.  She is in the process of relocating to Crested Butte to work closely with the company owners and HQ.  

Welcome, Kyla!  We are very excited to have her on board.  Karen Hoskin, most of all, is breathing a sigh of relief to have some help as the company grows. Yahoo!
